About WildAtlas
WildAtlas aims to demystify Southern African hiking information so you can discover new and exciting trails.
"So, where will you go hiking next?"
This will entirely depend on your needs. Are you an expert hiker looking for the next, ultimate challenge? Or are you a family looking for a relaxed weekend of nature lovin' hiking. Maybe you want to take a luxurious stroll along unspoiled beaches sipping wine in the evening sunset? South Africa is a wonderful and unique country that provides literally 100's of hiking trails, just waiting to be explored...
The problem is, or rather 'was', the inconsistancy of hiking information, which is usually subjective and scattered. WildAtlas aims to make things simpler. Trails are organised by category region, duration and type. Now you can find the best trails, in two shakes of a lamb's tail!
The Team
The dynamic WildAtlas team is based in Pretoria, South Africa. Inspired by the wilderness on our doorstep, we want to build the ultimate tool for discovering the little and the big things that make our country special.
